== Ubuntuで利用できるサウンド関係プラグイン ==

Ubuntuではサウンド関係のプラグインパッケージがいくつか提供されています。それらは以下の規格に準じています。

 LADSPA (Linux Audio Developers Simple Plugin API):: サウンドを扱うプラグインのための規格
 DSSI (Disposable Soft Synth Interface):: LADSPAをソフトウェア音源用に拡張した規格
 LV2 (LADSPA Version 2):: LADSPAの後継

これらプラグインは、アプリケーションから直接利用可能な場合もありますし、Pulse``AudioサウンドサーバやJACKサウンドサーバのモジュールに挿して使うこともできます。

Audacityであれば上図のように、ツールバーの項目「エフェクト」から選択できます。

DSSIプラグインのファイルはパス「/usr/lib/dssi」以下に保存されます。起動するには、JACKのホストプログラムを使います。例えばHexterなら、ファイル「/usr/lib/dssi/hexter.so」なので端末で以下のように実行します。
